cant run silverlite in ie 10

    Question

  • trying to play netflix but it wont install ie10. now i understand ie 10 doesnt support plug ins but i would think silverlite would work. this a failure on netflix or a bug for ie10?

  • Silverlight is also plug in and add-on and it won't work in IE10 metro style but it will work in IE10 classic. Try run website in silverlight classic style from desktop.

  • So is IE 10 completed or is the metro version that is currently out merely a demo. Because currently, it doesn't function very well. I have lots of issues with it not loading sites and since it doesn't support plug ins, sites with embedded videos don't work. I LIKE IE 10 Metro as it makes sites more touch friendly but I don't like how it doesn't work with a lot of sites. I mean I can't even watch netflix with it lol.
    Metro IE does not and will not have plugins, not even Silverlight. The future is HTML5.

  • As far as I can see in my environment, the Sliverlight plug-in doesn't work in Desktop version of IE 10 when 64-bit mode or Protected Mode are enabled.
