  • This is generally the error that is reported when the Portal VM does not have internet connectivity.  Are you by chance deploying in an environment that is behind a Proxy and if so is it an authenticated proxy?  The first thing I would check is that the Portal VM has internet connectivity.  If it does not resolve that checking the following:

    1) If behind a proxy did you specify the proxy when installing Azure Stack?
    2) Does the Portal VM have connectivity?
    3) If not behind a proxy and the Portal VM does not have internet connectivity does the NATVM have internet connectivity?
    4) If the portal and natvm have connectivity to the internet but name resolution is failing verify that the ADVM has the correct forwarders in DNS and that they are resolving DNS entries correctly?

Once the issue is sorted out you can restart the deployment and it will pick back up and continue on.

    Thanks,

    -Steve

  • Hi Steve,

    Thanks for your reply.

We have successfully configured stack using DHCP server, could you please describe how the portal.azurestack.local binding with 192.168.133.74, where is this IP located ? The stack setup has been running in our test environment and  we are struggling to access the portal url in our production network.
