Scaffolding in multiple tables in Visual Studio 2019 RRS feed

Is it possible to set up scaffolding in more than one table in the Visual Studio 2019 environment with ASP.NET Core Razor Pages?

Until my install of Visual Studio 2019 is approved "through channels", I have been learning how to use it via the Community version on my home computer.

That particular environment gives me errors when I try to perform scaffolding on a second table.

    Hi irsharp23,

Could you please specify the error message?

I think the scaffolding should be able to scaffold for more than one table but not at the same time.

When you use scaffolding you can invoke it as many times as needed. The folder that you right click will determine where the files will be written to.

If you are following the tutorial for scaffolding Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) operations for the movie model, you should have a folder for the movies and another folder for another table, for example, directors.

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    Sean
