    how can i download silverlight onto an LG smart tv

    I don't think you can.

    AFAIk LG smart tv uses an operating system called WebOS.

    You need 2 things for Silverlight to work.

    1) A browser which will work with the Silverlight plugin.

    2) A version of the Silverlight framework which is compatible with your operating system.

    I don't think either will be fulfilled by WebOS.

    You'd want some media pc if this is important.

    Hi peter,

    According to Andy's reply, please check the System Requirements for Silverligh as below link shows. It just listed that Silverlight supports OS of Windows and Mac 10.6+.
