  • Hi Dave,

    The links seem to be working fine for me. Not sure if you did any changes so far. When thing to remember when overlaying and overlapping HTML and SL content is to set the isWindowless property.

    hope that helps

  • Hello, one thing to check is the ZIndex. Your html content's ZIndex must be higher than Silverlight's.

  • You can use something like

    <Canvas
      <Ellipse
          Canvas.ZIndex="3"
          Canvas.Left="5" Canvas.Top="5"
          Height="200" Width="200"
          Stroke="Black" StrokeThickness="10" Fill="Silver" />

      <Ellipse
          Canvas.ZIndex="2"
          Canvas.Left="50" Canvas.Top="50"
          Height="200" Width="200"
          Stroke="Black" StrokeThickness="10" Fill="DeepSkyBlue" />

      <Ellipse
          Canvas.ZIndex="1"
          Canvas.Left="95" Canvas.Top="95"
          Height="200" Width="200"
          Stroke="Black" StrokeThickness="10" Fill="Lime" />

    </Canvas>

  • is the zindex not only for the silverlight object; is that also working with the html?

  • No, you should set CSS's z-index. Just set the div that hosting your Silverlight plugin's z-index to, say, 1, and set the underlying html div's z-index to 2. When in windowless mode, Silverlight plugin respects CSS z-index property.
