WinRT WIFIDirect and Android

Question

Hi, Metro Applications that use Proximity API connect only with mobiles that run Windows and do not sense and connect with android mobile devices and vice versa. I will appreciate if anyone could guide me how to overcome this issue. Thanks in advance. Bala

Take a look at the PeerFinder.AlternateIds API to see that can help you overcome this issue.

do we need to deploy proximity sample on android mobile devices for Wi-Fi Direct to work between

 is it enough that other android mobile devices just supports Wi-Fi Direct.
