  • What software creates a database for using on .asp web pages ?  I have purchased expression web.

  • The norm is SQL Express, which you can download.

    Many ISPs support this for ASP.NET work. You can also do this with traditional ASP (.asp files).

    Another option is Access, but it is not free.

    If you want to use the ASP.NET login and membership bits, you can do this by either running the configuration tool (does not link into EW1 or EW2, so you will have to use Web Developer Express) or running aspnet_regsql and then manually editing the web.config file.
