Is Core 3 ok to create a WEB API with identity server to use remotely as login for a Web Forms project? RRS feed

I am trying to create a remote login (authentication / authorization) for an old Web Forms project.  I have read a few things suggesting that I not use Core 3..0 if I am to be wanting to use Web Forms to access it.  I am interpreting that correctly?

    Thanks!

no. while you can not mix webforms and core in the same website, but f they are different sites there is no problem. a webform app can redirect to a core app, and it can call a .core based webapi.

Thank you!  I assume using Core 3 to create a WEB API is the best way to go, correct?
