Serial Port Service in MSDN Magazine RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I have written an article about a Serial Port service that has just been published in MSDN Magazine. You can read it online here:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/ee309885.aspx

The source code for the service can be downloaded from the site too, or you can look here:
    http://www.promrds.com/SerialPort.htm

This service is a very simple example of how to send and receive data via a serial port. The ZIP file also includes a couple of VPL examples. I don't claim that it is highly reliable, but it works for me :-)
