is possible to update a database from excel file? What i want to do is to update the database every time i add a new record in excel worksheet, automatically by runing a page that can get the last row of excel sheet and add it on database table.

I assume that you would like to add some kind of automation to the Excel workbook so that it connects to a web site and transfers the new data? If so, this forum is the wrong place to ask the question. You should try an Excel forum.

On the other hand, you have to ask yourself why you are adding "records" to an Excel file in the first place if you actually want to store them in a proper database anyway. Seems a bit pointless to me.

i add first in excel because i have to calculate some data first. eg. i enter the usd price and want to calculate EMA12, EMA26, MACD...

    i can't do it in a database, i don't know how :)

I want to know if it is possible to enter new records in database faster not manually by copying each of them from excel.

    Yes,you can.

You can Use UDFs to Write to SQL Databases from Excel.

    Please refer to Luis's post:http://blogs.msdn.com/b/luisbeonservices/archive/2006/11/08/using-udfs-to-write-to-sql-databases.aspx

    Best Regards,
