httpd.lib and SD Boot RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We are doing some tests with Windows Embedded Compact and I have two questions.

The first one is, where is the httpd.lib file? I can't build the WCE image because this file didn't exist :-/

Another question, I can build very simple images and I can run in Virtual PC, but I'd like to put this image in a
SD card or USB drive to use in a real computer (I'm with a eeepc to test), I found a "DiskPrep.exe" to build the
image in SD or CF card, but it didn't work and return the error "Unable to load BLDR!" :(

    All the best :)

  • When you say Windows Embedded Compact, do you mean version 7?

Did you run "Build and Sysgen"?   It will cause problems like the one that you have with httpd.lib - but shouldn't with Compact 7 (but I am not about to test that).   If so, the solution is to reinstall.

Do you have BLDR on your disk?  What is the format of your SD card?

  • Yes, I'm with the WCE 7.
Yes, I did the Build and Sysgen, but, with the same problem, I reinstalled too... :(

And the SD format is FAT.

    All the best Bruce!
