  • The link you provided is for SP2 only (FWIW, the third file is the one that applies to your OS).

However, this "When I run the verification tool and it asks me to select a product theres no .Net Framework 2.0 in the list." indicates that you don't have .NET Framework 2.0 installed.

I suggest you try installing .NET Framework 2.0 on your system.

There is a cumulative installer that installs 2.0, its extensions 3.0 and 3.5, plus all applicable Service Packs through 3.5 SP1:

    http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe

First disable any AV and anti-malware software. Log on with an ID with full administrative privileges, then run the installer.

If not successful, provide complete logs:

collect your install logs with this:

    http://aka.ms/vscollect

After you run Collect.exe, you'll find vslogs.cab in your %temp% directory. Please upload vslogs.cab to a public site, like SkyDrive, and post the link here.

  • What is the source of SP2? If you downloaded it, please share the link.

Please also share your install logs as follows:

collect your install logs with this:

    http://aka.ms/vscollect

After you run Collect.exe, you'll find vslogs.cab in your %temp% directory. Please upload vslogs.cab to a public site, like SkyDrive, and post the link here.

Have you verified your .NET Framework 2.0 installation?

Please use this tool to verify:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx

Run the tool with .NET Framework 2.0 selected, then post the first 15 lines AND the LAST 15 lines of the tool log here.

  • Hello,

The link source of SP2? you mean the .Net Framework download link right? Well, this where I tired to download the . Net Framework SP2 from: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=1639. Ive tried to download all 3 files but I got the same error for all of them.

    Here are the logs: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=84BAA3D2098D48B6!126&authkey=!AOt7X8T3rEVL9R4

When I run the verification tool and it asks me to select a product theres no .Net Framework 2.0 in the list... only .Net Framework 1.0, .Net Framework 1.1 SP1, .Net Framework 4 client, and .Net Framework 4 full
