    Hello,

    I am looking for the best way to upgrade workstations from Windows XP to Windows 8.  Unfortunately I had the unpleasant experience of upgrading Windows XP to Windows 7 which required a new installation.

    Reaching out to determine if I will experience the experience.  What is the best practice for the upgrade with out losing data, files and programs.  Is there a in place upgrade option?
