Delayed binding to of the visibility of a textblock.

    Question

  • Hi All,

    Is there any way to delay the binding of value for a certain time.

    For example, my XAML looks like this:

    <TextBlock x:Name="tbName" Visibility={"Binding MyObservableCollection.NumItems}" />

    What I'd like to do (but what is not syntactically correct is the following):

    <TextBlock x:Name="tbName" Visibility={"Binding MyObservableCollection.NumItems, Delay=1000}" />

    So, is there anyway to delay the binding?

    Thanks in advance.

  • you need to delay the moment the event propertychanged get raised. you can use Task.Delay for that
