Creating new folder on server directory

How can I make new folder on the directory located on server?

The Server IP Address is \\10.31.5.0

The directory on the server is MainStorageFolder

Thus the path is \\10.31.5.0\MainStorageFolder

How to create folder on this path to be as follow

\\10.31.5.0\MainStorageFolder\DepartmentFiles

Try https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/54a0at6s(v=vs.110).aspx :

System.IO.Directory.CreateDirectory(@"\\10.31.5.0\MainStorageFolder\DepartmentFiles");

The account under which your app runs will need the correct permission. Unless I don't know which directory to create until runtime, I prefer to create them when installing the web app.

Edit: try https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/324267/how-to-share-files-and-folders-over-the-network-in-a-windows-server-20 if this folder is not shared already.
