    If you want to get SharePoint version build number using CSOM, here is a code snippet for your reference:

    string url = @"http://yourweburl";
    ClientContext context = new ClientContext(url);
    context.ExecuteQuery();
    Console.WriteLine(context.ServerVersion.ToString());
