WEEKNUM function in Excel 2003 does not work in Windows Developer Preview RRS feed

  • Question

  • Have a spreadsheet in Excel 2003 containing the WEEKNUM function.  In Windows 7, the function works properly.  In Windows Developer Preview the "#NAME?" value is returned.  This has been retested on Windows 7 and in Windows Developer Preview the problem was replicated by entering "=WEEKNUM(Date(2011,10,05))"

  • The problem was found to be that the "Analysis Pak" was not installed as an add-in.  Installed the add-in and it works fine now, no additional feedback will be provided.
