When using parameters in an ObjectDatasource for an RDLC report, how can you get the parameter values and display them in the report?

    When using RDLC reports....

define parameters in your objectdatasource to change selection of data.

Then define report parameters as shown below for the SOLE purpose to have their values show in the report or use them in iif statements or in expressions.

The parameters below do NOT affect the data displayed in the report.

    Dim params(0) As Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.ReportParameter
    params(0) = New Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.ReportParameter("State", StateDropDownList.SelectedValue)

I guess it works differently in RDL reports

You should pass your parameter's value to your Query this is your same thread http://forums.asp.net/t/1668303.aspx
