ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified RRS feed

    I have operate oracle database very rarely. I have oracle 9i database at the server, long time a go i have link the database into ms access.

    Now, i have win8.1 and oracle client 11 installed. I try to link it again but always failed.

    I have done configure Local Net Service Name using Net Configuration Assistant (test result is OK)

    But when i try to configure ODBC, trying to link the data into MS Access i get error : 

    ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified

    Can anyone help me to fix the problem please. Thanks

    DO not use ODBC in application

    Use ODP.NET using OracleDataAccess.dll to extract data from the link in Oracle to MS Acess.
