  • I face a problem, how to generate the texturedata.bin file in metro direct3d tutorial lesson4?

  • The .bin file in that sample is just a dump of raw pixel data without any header or other information. A .DDS file is a more standard way to serialize texture data. See DDSTextureLoader which is included in many of the Metro style samples. It is also included in DirectXTK.
