Product Key Invalid

    Question

  • We have purchased three product keys for Visual Studio Professional 2015.  (Order number: 1526268561) However, the 3rd key (Start with GPTNR) is "invalid". The error message is "You have entered an invalid product key".

I confirm that the Product Key we purchased is for VS Professional 2015, and the software I am using is VS Professional 2015.

    Please investigate and give me a call at +44 (0)20 7847 3708.

  • Hi,

I think you are wrong here for Visual Studio product or licensing support.
This is the developer network forum.

Please contact the Microsoft Support for this.
    E.g. via https://support.microsoft.com

    Regards,
    David

Additional hint: This is an open forum. Everyone in the internet can read it without any registration etc. So maybe you shouldn't post personal information as your telephone number here.

  • Thanks Weiwei.

I am desperate as I have tried all those support /client service. They directed me to those call centres which nobody really understood how to solve the problem. I must say that those help centres are simply a waste and useless.

  • Hi LuSecuris,

If I buy something but doesn't work for me, I also will not happy and be desperate.

But this forum is discuss about Visual Studio WPF/SL Designer, Visual Studio Guidance Automation Toolkit, Developer Documentation and Help System, and Visual Studio Editor. We don't have the permission for the licenses.

So I suggest you contact the one who sales the license to you. I think the salesman need to take charge for this issue.

    Best Regards,
    Weiwei
