Web Platform 5.0 PHP Issue RRS feed

I am trying to use the Web Platform Installer 5.0 to install WordPress on a Server 2012 R2 VM in our DMZ. Some items successfully install, however PHP (any version) fails to even download. I have already installed IIS through the Add Roles and Features Wizard and would be using that instead of IIS Express. Looking through the log, I see quite a few HTTP/1.1 301 and 302 errors concerning PHP and then some download failures. I have pasted the error log at http://pastebin.com/L0iwiWEs. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi Jean,

Thank you for your reply. Sorry for my late response. I incorrectly assumed that I would get an email when someone replied to my post.

Using the link directly, I can download the file. However, it takes over 2 minutes before the download starts. I'm wondering if the Web Platform Installer is just timing out before the PHP download begins. Do you know of anyway to adjust the program's timeout settings?

I cleared the Installer cache just to be certain that it wasn't an issue and there was no change.

    Hi,

It seems that WPI doesn't have timeout setting.

However, you can download and install PHP manually. You can learn how to do it in the following link.

    http://php.net/manual/en/install.windows.iis7.php

    Best Regards,

    Jean
