Update to Visual Studio Mac with Mono etc. broke app on emulator RRS feed

Just updated to the new Visual Studio Mac 7.0 (3146), along with Xamarin.Android 7.3.0.13 and Mono 5.0.0.100 and now our app crashes on launch with an assertion from inside Mono:

[] * Assertion at /Users/builder/jenkins/workspace/xamarin-android/xamarin-android/external/mono/mono/metadata/icall.c:5160, condition `dest' not met [libc] Fatal signal 6 (SIGABRT), code -6 in tid 3246

I went back to Xamarin.Android 7.2.x and it's working again, so looks like 7.3 is causing the problem.

I'm having the exact same issue. No solution so far. Any easy way of downgrading?

Same issue. [] * Assertion at /Users/builder/jenkins/workspace/xamarin-android/xamarin-android/external/mono/mono/metadata/threads.c:723, condition `!internal->rootdomainthread' not met [libc] Fatal signal 6 (SIGABRT), code -6 in tid 6063 (.ProjectName)

upd: You can read about downgrading here: https://kb.xamarin.com/customer/portal/articles/1699777-how-do-i-downgrade-to-an-older-version-

I was able to solve this issue by downgrading to Xamarin Android 7.2.0.7.

I've just got this problem on Marshmallow emulator (6.0). 4.2, 5.0 and 7.0 works just fine with exactly same code. Weird.

I experience the same issue on VS 2015 using a 64bit emulator. The normal Visual Studio emulator works and I can launch the application on an actual device.
