To use or not to use Sharepoint Farm Configurator

Question
-
Hi,
Just installed Sharepot 2013. I am trying to get some community feed back whether to use SharePoint 2013 Farm configuration wizard or setup the services using Powershell.
Here is an article that tell the ten reason not to use the wizard, http://myprojectexpert.com/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=49.
My questions are:
1. Can the wizard install services be edit or changed later manually such as service account?
2. Can wizard installation be un-installed?
Any comments and suggestion are appreciated.
Thanks
Jean

1st of all, as per my experience, never use wizard to configure the services.Once your main configuration completed then just start the state services from wizard that's it then configure all other services manually either Central Admin or power shell.
1) it really does not matter how you configured the services, but once they configured you can do all the maintenance after that i.e services account change, db change etc
2) Yes you can delete the services applications created via wizard, from central admin and manager services applications page or powershell.

You can correct most/all of the 'iffy' settings that the farm configuration wizard leaves you with. The only thing you should NOT do is use the single server or standalone installation mode. That you can't correct after the event.
Building the service apps without the wizard is definitely preferable. PS or GUI configuration is acceptable. The thing that gets missed most is the lack of SQL Aliases, those are more important than most/any of the issues you get from the farm wizard.
The AutoSPInstaller does a good, and predictable, job of installing SharePoint. Have a look at it.- Edited by Alex Brassington Saturday, April 26, 2014 7:52 PM

Thanks for the reply. What do you consider are the state services that I can use the farm configurator wizard to start?
Thank again.
