  • Hi mehulviby,

    >>Microsoft.VisualStudio.Tools.Applications.Runtime.CannotCreateCustomizationDomainException: Customization could not be loaded because the application domain could not be created. ---> Microsoft.VisualStudio.Tools.Applications.Deployment.DeploymentInnerException: Exception reading manifest from file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/plugin/source/plugin.vsto: the manifest may not be valid or the file could not be opened.<<

Please check the whether manifest exits in the C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/plugin/source/. If it exits, I suggest that you compare it with the manifest on the development computer to see whether it was corrupted.

    Regards & Fei

  • Hai Fei Xue,

I have checked both the files looks like only the SignatureValue is different. I don't see much change in both the file I do not think the file is corrupted.

  • Hi mehuviby,

Would you mind sharing the manifest with us? In addition, is it helpful that repair the VSTO runtime?

Also can you install the Office solution when you publish it with ClickOnce? Here is an helpful link for your reference:
