Link to external web page from an .aspx file RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

In my LS solution I have a home.aspx page that I use for user logins.

I want to have a link to an external web page and have added the following code:

<p>If you have questions or issues please visit our <a href="http:/www.externalsite.net/faqs/" target="_blank">FAQ page</a>.</p>

but when the link is clicked in debug mode, it navigates to:

    http://localhost:62622/www.externalsite.net/faqs/

I can't figure how to make it go to:

    http://www.externalsite.net/faqs/

    Any assistance will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

It maybe the wrong url, Just try changing to "http://www." instead of "http:/www." like this:

<p>If you have questions or issues please visit our <a href="http://www.externalsite.net/faqs/" target="_blank">FAQ page</a>.</p>
