Wizard of certificate exchange 2010 status pending RRS feed

  • Why not complete my installation assistant certificate exchange and remains in pending status for completing? HELP

    I am installing my certificate and try many times and each time it is required to complete the certificate request remains in pending status

  • Hello Dulce,

    this is the Exchange Development Forums, which makes this a place for people who programm against Exchange. You appear to have an operations issue, so this is the wrong place for that.

    Regarding your problem:
    Exchange Certificates - except for self-signed ones - cannot be installed by using the Exchange Management Console Wizard, you need to use PowerShell for that, as is well documented in the library.

  • You need to be a bit more clear about your problem.

    Is it that you generated a cert request and went through the completion wizard by pointing to the newly generated cert, but it still shows pending?

    Use mmc and add the Certificates snapin for computer account, go to personla store and see whether your cert is there, more importantly whether it is trusted and has the private key.

  • You have to complete the pending request before it can show the certificate completion status in EMC. You may want to take a look at below articles to understand more
