I have always preferred the newsgroups for C++ work. I spent a lot of years in microsoft.public. vc.... there are newsgroups for C++ language, MFC, MFC doc/view, database, debugger, com, etc. One of the better websites for MFC ideas used to be the CodeGuru site ==>http://www.codeguru.com/ A really great site that has both C+/MFC and ASP.NET is the codeproject ==> Codeproject

Microsoft's public newsgroups are free. If you go to the Visual C++ Community page on MSDN, you can find a web interface to the newsgroups and a good list of other C++ community websites.

There is a forum devoted to .NET Windows apps. A whole website, like this one, in fact. It is here: .NET Windows Forms
