Using real PDA to test mobile web application RRS feed

I cannot seem to connect to my application using my PDA.  It works fine with an emulator, but when I try the same address on the pocket browser it doesn't come up (keeps trying forever but nothing happens).  The application is on the localhost.  I can access it using a PDA if it is hosted on my ISP server, but not when it's on my home PC (Win XP Pro).

Has anyone tested their application using a PDA through the localhost?

The HTTP server on your machine have to be visible for users coming from Internet. If you have firewall turned on (and I expect you have) then open HTTP port from firewall settings. And when connecting to your machine from PDA then instead of "localhost" insert the host name or IP your machine got from ISP (if you don't have static one).
