Which database works for both windows 8 desktop and windows 8 tab ??

I want to reuse my windows 8 application on to windows 8 tab. We can use MS Access or any other database for Windows 8 desktop application. But the same can not be used on windows 8 tab application. Is there any database which can be used for both windows 8 application and windows 8 tab application ?

What do you mean by "windows 8 application" and by "windows 8 tab application"?

The most common local database for Windows Store apps is SQLite. SQLite is cross-platform and can also be used in desktop apps, Windows Phone apps, and on many non-Microsoft platforms.
