How to auto page size in visio when shapes are beyond one page scope? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I put a visio drawing control (2010) on windows form. I hope the visio page can auto size when I draw shapes out of one page scope.

In visio client auto page size is enabled if you select "Auto Size" in Design tag. But in my form application the page cannot be auto-sized even though I have set Page.AutoSize to True when initializing visio drawing control.

I try to call Page.AutoSizeDrawing method when each time drawing shape. But I got COMException when go to Page.AutoSizeDrawing method.

Does anyone know how to enable auto page size?

P.S. If I call Page.ResizeToFitContents method when each time drawing shape, page can be auto-sized. But one problem is that auto size would be an operation, say if you undo your previous drawing, the drawing is NOT removed but auto size is undone. I hope the undo can be same behaviour with that in visio client.
