How to pass multi-value as parameters to rdlc report RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    I have a checkboxlist control where user can select multiple items from. I would like to pass the selected items as multi-valued parameters to my rdlc report. For example,

    Dim

    typeParams(2) As String
    typeParams(0) = "Items1"
    typeParams(1) = "Items2"
    Dim typeParam As New ReportParameter("Type", typeParams)
    Me.ReportViewer1.LocalReport.SetParameters(New ReportParameter() {typeParam})
    Me.ReportViewer1.LocalReport.Refresh()

    "Type" is the parameter name I set up through the rdlc "Add Parameters" window.
    The problem is the rdlc report only return "Items1" instead both "Items1" and "Items2".

    I tried to use "=Join(Parameters!MultivalueParameter.Value,",")" in my field filter, the report returns nothing. I wonder there is something that I did not set up correctly.

    Can someone here help me out with this problem.

    Thanks a lot,
    Jeremy
