Code database has grown . . .can't figure out which objects caused it . . RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a front end database that has grown from 6mb to 200mb over the past several months . . . I know I've added a few graphics embedded in report headings, so I removed those and it only reduced from 200mb to 50mb . . is there a way to look at objects/sizes or something to compare with the old copy to determine what caused the huge growth in size? Or better yet, compare the two databases and see what objects changed?  Thanks

Answers

  • Export each object to a seperate blank database and then compare file sizes.

    Hi Big Itch,

    Did you try a Compact/Repair?
