"fsct prepare server" command giving error (FSCT with a Non-Windows Server) RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have CIFS share mapped as a network drive on controller machine. As per the document I am trying to prepare the share using the controller machine by executing the “fsct prepare server” command on controller machine. However, I am getting the following error.

Error formatting a drive. Error getting volume object.

Then I added “/disable_format” parameter in the “fsct prepare server”command

Then I  got following error :

Unable to create folder Z:\fsctc1u1. One or more intermediate directories do not  exist; this function will only create the final directory in the path.

Could you please help me with the same?

    Thanks in advanced.
