Increase Call Stack RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • How do you increase the call stack when debugging on the phone or emulator? My game would randomly freeze but when a click the pause button it will show the dissembly stage saying click to show disasembly then it will say nothing to show. When I look through my stack I dont see any of my function calls or where my last call was. How do I increase my call stack?

AFAIK, there is no option to increase the call stack.
It is possible that none of your code is on the call stack when you select break all. Depending on your code the chances may, in fact, be very slim.

When you select Break All (pause button) from the debugger it may break into a worker thread.
If you have full edition of Visual Studio you can try viewing the threads dialog (Debug -> Windows -> Threads) to see call stacks for other threads.  (note: you may need to hit a break-point in the other threads before their stack is visible in the threads list.)
