Adding work variance column\row on Tasks page RRS feed

  • I have looked a lot how to add a column or row to Tasks grid on Tasks page however I didn't fine a sollution.

    Could you give an idea how to do it?

    We use Project Online.

  • Hi,

    there is no way to add an additional row to the grid. You can add a column to the left table with some Enterprise Custom Field with a formula. But this value will not be calculated on time entry, just by publishing a project. So I assume that is not what you need. From your screenshot, it seems that you want the difference between planned and entered work - this is already available as column Remaining Work, so no need for a new field. Default field "Remaining Work" is calculated immediately on time entry.
