CMDline to change display to Medium size %125 configuration RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

Currently I am using a synchronous command to change(or rather ADD) the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\LogPixels key value as 120.

The system really increase the icon size.  But some form based applications which are running maximized now too big for the screen size.

But the problem doesn't exist if I go to control panel display to manually choose 125% medium.  So what additional configuration is done expect the registry setting above?

I have tried my laptop running windows 7 professional.  The HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\LogPixels key is already there as 96.  If I change to 120 and reboot, the problem happened on WES 7 does not exist.  My question here is why the key value is not created in WES 7?

    Anyone got the same problem?

    Thanks and Regards,

    Jeff
