  • Question

  • I know the title doesn't sound all that smart, but I found a library and some sample code on the internet. here: http://code.google.com/p/touchatag-processing/

I tried including the library (I unpacked the file to some folder, than added that folder it to tools->options->projects and solutions->vc++ directories->libraries) But when I try to compile I get an error. Then when I had another good look at the code, I started wondering if its'really c++ code, I am afraid it might be Java or something.

So my question is, is this code Java, and if it is, does that mean I can't use the library, or do I have to add it in a different way or something? If it's not Java, what am I doing wrong, why can't I use the library...

Thanks for the help in advance.

Ps. I hope I posted this in the right forum, if not: sorry.

  • Hello,

You're right, this is probably not the correct forum. But I had a look anyway.

It looks like C# (CSharp) code to me.

  • The page you link to has an introductory paragraph that tells you it is a Processing file.  That IS the language.  Read more here: http://processing.org/

From that page: "Processing is an open source programming language and environment"

  • Alright I was right in the first sentence of my post, but not only does it not sound smart, it IS not all that smart either.

I thought it was a processing becouse it processed an event, I would never have guessed processing was the language name, I guess I should have looked at the page more instead of focussing on the code.

Never the less, thanks very much for the help!!

Ps. Where should I have posted this?
