Intermittent corruption Problem

Question

I have a access 2013 front end/back end configuration.  It is very simple, only one table and two forms and a couple reports.  Periodically, for no apparent reason I get the following error.  At this point users cannot get the front end to run.

The only way I can fix it is to Import all its objects into a new DB.  Can anyone think of what might be causing this?

99.9% of chance you are dealing with https://www.devhut.net/2018/06/13/access-bug-database-is-in-an-unrecognized-format/ which is a 18+ month old bug introduced by a Windows 10 update.

You said this problem was only periodically so in addition to what Daniel said, make sure each user has their own copy of the Front-end file and are not using the same Front-end file located on a server.

It sounds as if you would recommend the registry hack solution, am I reading you right?

If you have Windows 10 in use, then yes.  If you don't use Windows 10, then no and you'd need to investigate other potential sources of corruption (bad LAN connection, using WiFi which is a big no-no, running on OneDrive or GoogleDrive or Dropbox ... Another big no-no, ...).
