  • Question

  • Hello,

We have a reoccurring weekly meeting setup by a third party.  Is there a way to craft the meeting invite so that the Join button will show up automatically?  For instance - can we put the number in the Location or Details section of the invite and is the Skype client on the phone smart enough to know how to dial it?

    Thanks,

    Matt

  • Hi Matt,

We would suggest you schedule such Skype meetings via Outlook if possible, as Outlook could help users create recurring meetings efficiently and send push notifications with location and details attached after integrate Exchange with SFB server.

Here we maily focus on and troubleshoot the general issues about SFB server. Based on your description, the demmand is more related to the scope of development, so I'll move the thread to Microsoft Lync Server SDK and Office Communications Server SDK forum to get a better response.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Kind regards,

    Calvin Liu

  • This question doesnt have anything to do with Skype on prem or the SDK.  It has to do with scheduling a 365 skype call and how a 3rd party can put data into the meeting request.
