    Are you trying to display an xslt?

    The error is telling you what the problem is...the root element of the xml is missing.

    We had a webscheduler application which was sitting on a old windows 2000 box with .net 1.1 version,we then migrated it to a new windows 2008 box by copying the folder of webscheduler on to WWWROOT folder .

    When we configured on new iis7 version and tried launching it got the error stating 

    Root element is missing .

    I see there is only one xml file in webscheduler folder and it is for the menu.

    Any idea what needs to be corrected to launch the webapp?
