Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Storage.Shared.Protocol.ServiceStats RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am having an issue with Azure storage that I am hoping to get cleared up.  Below is a snippet of code used for a sample test

    storageAccount = CloudStorageAccount.Parse(tableConnectionString);
    tableClient = storageAccount.CreateCloudTableClient();
    IEnumerable<CloudTable> c = tableClient.ListTables(null);

    TablePermissions tp;
    string tableName;
    Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Storage.Shared.Protocol.ServiceProperties serviceProps;

    // This is the one I am having an issue with
    Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Storage.Shared.Protocol.ServiceStats serviceStats;

    foreach(CloudTable t in c)
    {
       // These all work with no issue
       tp = t.GetPermissions();
       tableName = t.Name;
       serviceProps = t.ServiceClient.GetServiceProperties();

       try
       {
          // This always throws an exception.  No idea why other than what the exception says but I don't understand why
          serviceStats = t.ServiceClient.GetServiceStats();
       }
       catch (Exception ex)
       {

          // The exception message is
          // {"The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request."}
    ..........

    Why is it a bad request?  What is needed to make this work?

    The code is using WindowsAzure.Storage v4.3.0.

    Thanks for any help on this

  • I found the same issue when using BlobContainers.  I looked deeper and assume this answers the questions for both:
