I was directed to the MSDN by my local Microsoft store after trying out the Surface Dial with my Surface Pro 6 and Adobe Illustrator.
One of the difficulties I encountered was using the scroll tool to change a numeric value (such as in changing the size of an object). I would highlight the value with the Pen, then use the Dial to scroll through values, but the high scrolling speed of the
Dial made it hard work to select the value I wanted, often overshooting the mark.
The Dial takes advantage of fine motor control for manipulation, but without the ability to slow it down for scrolling, I can't really see using it. This seems like a simple software update.
Now, to get on to Adobe to enable customization of the increment values in different units of measure when using the Dial.
