Can we show custom status on status bar in Outlook 2010 ?

Question

I am developing an outlook add in which syncs mails to other server.

I need to display status i.e how many mails have been synced to server, on status bar.

Is it possible to do?

If yes then please show me the ways..

Hello Anuraj,

The Outlook extensibility model doesn't provide anything for customizing the status bar. You may consider creating an adjucent form in Outlook. See Creating Adjacent Windows In Outlook for more information.
