How to program for change dynamically metro bing map's language? RRS feed

  • Because my application support multi language.

    For example, by default application is under english, but user want to select french to be the language of application. 

    For the strings of application, program can do it easily. But how to change metro bing map's language?

  • Map.Culture is supposed to be it but due to a bug it does not work on the current RTM compatible release. We are still working out the full list of supported locales for the September release.

  • We find a bug which prevents Traditional Chinese from displaying. You get Simplified Chinese even if you set your culture to "zh-tw".

    It will be fixed in our next release.

  • The new version is just released. You should be able to show traditional Chinese using cultures "zh-tw" or "zh-hk" with this version.
