Project Server 2010 - Cannot start queue. SSP: RRS feed

  • Question

  • Our Project server 2010 is logging the following entries in windows-log

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cannot start queue. SSP: ab2fabaf-cf95-49ff-848f-84fe58528342  SiteUID: eb883475-b9de-4bff-92c1-ac4fdc493086 Url:  Queue: TimesheetQ

    Queue: ProjectQ

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And our migration of Project server 2007 to Project server 2010 is failing/running into many issues.  Is there any link between these error log and project server migration failure/issues?

Issue resolved. For some unknown reason, admin account setting was messed up.

  • Anything in the ULS? Was the upgrade successful? Did you see any error in the upgrade logs?

  • Hi Sanjeev,

I would be glad if you can share how exactly you solve this problem. I've tried everything available on net but all in vain, this one seems to my issue as well. Kindly lemme know what you did to account settings, so I can try that as well.

    Thanks a lot!

    Thanks, Kashif

  • Kashif,

I resolved it. What I did is:

    1. Install Project Server SP1

    2. Run SharePoint Config Wizard

After all this system is working fine :)
