SSRS 2017 produces reports 8.7% larger than SSRS 2008 RRS feed

  • Question

  • SSRS 2017 produces landscape PDF reports 8.7% larger than SSRS 2008

The net effect of this is that right 5/8" of my landscape reports don't fit on the page any more.

We basically took all our reports built with Visual Studio 2013 and deployed from SSRS 2008 and recompiled them for SSRS 2017 on VS 2019.

Why and how can I resolve this.

  • Ok, I figured it out. It turns out that there is a sub report that was defined to be 11.5 inches wide.
