Collapse Code retain between sessions

    Question

  • Hi,

When you collapse code in VS 2013, is it possible to retain the same collapse code in another session when VS is reopened on another day?

    Thanks

  • Hi SanjShah,

Do you mean you want Visual Studio save the collapse code session until restart Visual Studio next time on the same machine?

According to your description, I collapse some code in my project and then close my Visual Studio 2013. When I restart Visual Studio again, the collapsed code still collapsed.

So it should be the default behavior of Visual Studio 2013. If your Visual Studio 2013 is not save this session, please check whether you have installed the latest update for your Visual Studio 2013.

In addition, please try run your Visual Studio in safe mode with "Deven.exe /SafeMode" command to prevents all third-party VSPackages from loading when Visual Studio starts, thus ensuring stable execution.

    Best Regards,
