Cannot install hotfix KB2600088 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    I run webserver on Win 2012R 64bit.

I have troubles with browser detection in ASP.NET a I found hotfix for it.

I successfully installed 436907_intl_x64_zip and sites running on 64 bit runs well.
But there is couple sites that need 32 bit support (MS Access). For those should be hotfix 436906_intl_i386_zip.

I am not able to install it - "KB2600088 does not apply, or is blocked by another condition on your computer".

It seems .NET 4.5 causes it.

Would you be so kind to help me, how to repair 32 bit ASP.NET?

    Thank you very much
    Miroslav

  • Hi Miroslav,

If the result of .NET verify tool shows .NET is alright, please open a new case on the following forum:

Consult if the update can be installed on your OS.

  • Hello Miroslav,

This forum only supports .NET Framework Installation itself, so if you mean .NET 4.5 may corrupt, we can help you troubleshoot it. However, if your issue is not due to .NET Framework, you will need to consult on some other forums instead of here.

First of all, please use this blog to verify your .NET on your OS:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx

Then please upload your update log by searching from this folder "%temp%", you can use time as the filter and check if KB2600088 installation log is there. The log will help us get details of the update installation.
