Office365 Management API returns 500 errors RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I am encountering a problem when trying to start activity subscriptions against the Office365 Management APIs. This was working great a few days ago, but I've found that it is no longer working.

    Here's my repro steps:

    - Retrieve an app-only access token by submitting a signed clientAssertion JWT. This resulting JWT correctly has the ActivityFeed.Read claim.

    - Call with correct authorization header

    The response comes back with a 500 error with this JSON body:

      "error": {
        "code": "AF50000",
        "message": "Please retry the request again in an hour. We have been notified and would be resolved soon."

    I've tried this throughout the day with the same result. It was working two days ago. The one thing that changed is that I stopped previous subscriptions via the stop API call. I wonder if there is an issue when trying to start a subscription after it has been stopped?

  • We have been getting this error for the last couple days as well. I feel like this should have been caught with a unit or integration test.
